Bad news: due to Wizards of the Coast's new (previously unkown) rules regarding Pre-Release tournaments, we will be unable to host a 2011 Core Set Pre release tournament.

Good news: we WILL be having a very unique MTG tournament that you will NOT want to miss.

More details on that in the next few days as we work out the details.

This is probably the most exciting time for us. If you don't know by now, MLP is 100% run by gamers. This isn't a corporation this is just a bunch of friends putting together one heck of a show for all that want to attend.

This year is definitely the most anticipated we've ever had, and I can say that knowing we've had some years that we just weren't ready or weren't sure what to expect. Not this year.

We have some excellent tournaments and games lined up. Our signup count is the strongest we've ever had. We have some folks coming from all over the country coming for their first time.

The LAN party has been through some rough times in the last few years. With the economy taking a dump sponsorship was at an all time low 2 years ago. Last year and this year we've seen a growth in sponsorship and a growth in LANs. MLP has managed to tough out these times and actually manage to grow in size, this year should be no exception.

If you're still on the fence about coming, this year is going to be our best. If you're already planning on coming, awesome! and you shuold get there early Friday morning. We'll be there.

Prepay ending soon

On a side note, prepay is going to end July 1st so, you're going to want to take advantage of that before it's too late. Sooooooooo go do it! :)

Our signup list is over 100 strong now! I want to thank everyone for taking the time to fill the list up but you're still not done yet.

Prepay is ending in 1 week so if you want to save yourself $10 then prepay now.

Just a reminder that the doors will be opening Friday at 9:00 am. Choice seating and ethernet cables are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. We recommend that you all bring your own ethernet cable this year, we have some but no guarantees how many work.

We have a TON of prizes to give away this year. Also, this year every player will be receiving a BFG Frag-n-Bag T-shirt, as well as a copy of one of Dale Brown's war-based novels (while supplies last)

We will have some prize tournaments Friday night and Saturday night, with the round-robin tournaments ending and prizes being given out on Sunday.
